Top prize winners of the 2026 CYMC Online Music Competition will be invited to perform at Harvard University, joining the CYMC x Harvard Global Artists Series.

Registration Fees

  • Early Bird (before June 1, 11:59 PM): $80

  • Regular (June 2 – June 25, 11:59 PM): $90

Registration & Payment

  • Payment method: Zelle (follow instructions on the registration form) or Credit Card (a $5 processing fee will apply)

  • Registration is complete only after payment confirmation

  • If pay with Zelle, a screenshot of your Zelle payment must be uploaded with the registration form

Video Submission

  • Submission: YouTube link

  • Time: No time limit

  • Violinists may choose to perform with or without a piano accompanist in both rounds

Divisions

Eligibility Age: Participant age is determined as of July 1, 2026.

Violin

  • Group A (ages under 6)

  • Group B (ages 6-7)

  • Group C (ages 8-9)

  • Group D (ages 10-11)

  • Group E (ages 12-13)

  • Group F (ages 14-15)

  • Group G (ages 16-17)

  • Group H (ages 18+)

Piano

  • Group A (ages under 6)

  • Group B (ages 6-7)

  • Group C (ages 8-9)

  • Group D (ages 10-11)

  • Group E (ages 12-13)

  • Group F (ages 14-15)

  • Group G (ages 16-17)

  • Group H (ages 18+)

Video Requirements

  • One continuous take

  • No editing

  • Clear audio and video

  • Link must be accessible

  • Video Title Format: First Name, Last Name, Group, and Repertoire

Refund Policy

  • To ensure fairness for all participants, refunds will not be issued in cases where incorrect age information is provided at the time of registration or if a participant exceeds the eligible age range; such entries will be disqualified.​​​​

  • Second Prize
    Certificate · Invitation to perform at Harvard University · Exclusive masterclass package at New England Conservatory

  • Third Prize
    Certificate · Invitation to perform at Harvard University · Exclusive masterclass package at New England Conservatory

Beyond the awards, participants will enjoy a curated Cambridge–Boston cultural experience, culminating in a Winners’ Recital at Harvard University and an exclusive masterclass at the New England Conservatory.

Please note: A separate application and additional fee are required to participate in the Harvard performance.
